Living With Fire
A University of Nevada, Reno Extension program, run with Nevada's fire agencies, that helps residents
get ready for wildfire before it arrives. It covers creating defensible space around your home,
hardening a house against embers, planning an evacuation, and what to do when smoke is in the air.
If a fire on this list is near you, that is the place to start.

About this page. ActiveNevadaWildfires.com is an independent, non-commercial
page that lists every wildfire currently reported in Nevada in one place, with a map and a link to
the official page for each one. It is not affiliated with the Nevada Division of Forestry, the
Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, the National Interagency Fire Center, or any
other agency, and it does not speak for them.
Official sources take priority over this page. The list, map, and incident
pages are drawn from the National Interagency Fire Center's public incident feed and NASA
satellite hotspot data each time the page loads, so what you see is only as current as the last
agency update, which is shown on every fire. A fast-moving fire will outrun it. Nothing here should
be used to decide whether to evacuate. For that, use official alerts from your county, the
incident's InciWeb page, or call 9-1-1.
